Starting from July to September are the driest months of the year for DR Congo. In the dry season, Gorillas tend to move to higher altitudes to escape sunshine, therefore expect for longer treks.

Then wettest months in DR Congo are; November, October, March, April and May. This period when there is heavy rainfall, places of interest are less touristy so lodges give discounts on accommodation. November is the wettest month of the year but this does not make travel impossible. It’s just that you have to have rain gear with you to overcome some of the wet areas.
