3 Day Bwindi Gorilla Trekking - Uganda Holidays
On this safari to Bwindi National Park, Mountain Gorilla trekking is the main focus. Arriving at Entebbe international airport, our Safari guide will pick you. You will be transferred to your hotel of residence either in Entebbe or Kampala city. In the morning at 7 am, the driver guide will pick up you for the journey to Bwindi in Southwestern Uganda. This takes around 9 hours to drive with stopovers for lunch and sightseeing.
The following day is when you go Gorilla trekking adventure an activity that lasts between 3 to 8 hours depending on the movement of the Gorillas in the mountainous forests.
Day 1: From Kampala – to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Very early in the morning after breakfast at the hotel, you will check out and meet your guide in parking, embark on the Safari vehicle and the journey to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest starts via Kampala- Masaka- Mbarara highway. A stopover is included at the equator for a brief explanation about it, take photos, have a cup of coffee and snacks, after continue with the journey to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Another stopover is in Mbarara to have your lunch and later proceed to the Park where you will arrive in the evening. Check-in at the lodge.

Day 2: Mountain Gorilla Trekking – Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
After morning breakfast, your guide will drive you up to the park offices for the short briefing which is often conducted before Mountain Gorilla Trekking. The briefing is meant to highlight trekkers on what to do and not to do while in the Jungle. Travellers are divided into groups of eight and each group is assigned to the Mountain Gorilla family.
After all that, the journey to the Jungle starts and after locating the Mountain Gorillas. You are allowed to stay in their presence for only one hour while seeing them playing, feeding, laughing, and more. You are advised to come along with packed food and water for drinking while in the Jungles. After one hour period, travellers start the journey back to the pack offices or lodge of stay for relaxation. Later in the afternoon, you can visit the Batwa people in their communities.
Day 3: Visit Lake Bunyonyi- Drive to Kampala
The next day you will check out and visit the nearby lake Bunyonyi for breathtaking boat rides. After that experience, you start the jaw-dropping journey through rolling hills back to Kampala. Stopover in Mbarara for lunch and later continue to Kampala for your return flight or night stay.
